PHASE ONE
Idea Submittal
January 4, 2010 thru
March 12, 2010
- Students will submit their ideas using a pre-defined form.
- The Idea Submittal phase will last 2 months. Students can enter more than 1 idea.
- If two or more identical ideas are submitted, the first submitted will be accepted.
- On March 26, the students of the top 15 ideas will be contacted.
- The top 10 will enter Phase 2 with the next 5 being alternates.

PHASE TWO
Semi Final
March 29, 2010 thru
April 30, 2010
- Students in Phase 2 will be asked to submit either a 150 word abstract or a 2 minute video describing their idea. (send to info@motivatemichigan.org)
- The Top 10 ideas will be posted on a website that will be made available to the general public to vote.
- General public voting will take place from 4/12/10 - 4/30/10.
- The Top 5 will be notified on 5/1/10 that they have been chosen to proceed to the Finalist phase.
- Note: The Top 10 will all receive some scholarship dollars.

PHASE THREE
Finalist
May 2, 2010 thru
May 24, 2010
- The finalist will need to prepare a 15 minute presentation to present to the panel of judges on 5/24/10.
- Students are encouraged to be creative yet present a more detail business case.
- Student awards will be presented the same day.
